Throughput has always been a hot topic on the OpenVPN list. Some members have published throughput statistics on various occasions, you may want to have a look there. AFAIR CPU speed and the single threading model have been limiting factors. I doubt there will be figures for the soekris, but you can probably derive some figures from similar hardware. I don't recall if anyone made big use of hardware acceleration. I guess you would have to recompile OpenSSL to use it. cheers Erich
