Hi.
You can try i5 (or LGA1155 Xeon - it costs same price), or you can try 
AMD FX8320/8350
i5 has lesser cache/memory latency, but AMD has twice more cores 
(although each core is some slower than in i5). W/o encryption, on plain 
routing i5 should be faster, but for encryption AMD may be better.
Another AMD advantage - all it's AM3/AM3+ CPUs (and also older 
754/939/AM2) support ECC memory.
