Hi Folks This is off topic, but I cannot reach the kernel mailing list (would not know why), so please if anyone has insight, bear with me.
I am about to build a WiFi Client on BuC 5.x and it looks like I am running into an impasse. I am using the ath5k driver with wpasupplicant to control wlan0. With WPA/WPA2 everything works fine, but with WEP (I know it isn't) the associacion is done, DHCP requests go out on wlan0, reach the server, but the answer is not seen on the wlan0 interface. I can also establish a connection without encryption. I can establish a WEP based connection fine on Android and Windoze, just the setting on BuC fails. The settings used for WEP are network={ ssid="scoobly" key_mgmt=NONE wep_key0="12345" wep_tx_keyidx=0 } Any ideas? Thanks Erich
