In EdgeOS I can configure an IPv6 interface like this: ipv6 { address { eui64 2001:db8::/64 } }
This defines the network part, the interface part of the IP is generated from the MAC address. The result looks like this: 14: eth2.60@eth2: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP link/ether 04:18:d6:c3:88:a7 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet6 2001:db8::618:d6ff:fec3:88a7/64 scope global valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever inet6 fe80::618:d6ff:fec3:88a7/64 scope link valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever Can this be done with Bering-uClibc? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Transform Data into Opportunity.
