After posting my original message about layer 2 bridging, I searched message archives
on the internet. I found a message that said layer 2 bridging would not work on
Wisp-Dist
with cards based on the prism chip set. This could have been a very old message.
Anyhow, my pcmcia cards ARE based on the prism chip set, so it is possible that this
is a
known problem and I have not read as much as I should have.
