There is something here I'd forgotten about: The arguments to the payees and accounts commands take a regular report query. They then determine which postings which participate in such a report, and then report the payees/accounts relating to those postings. Make sure to quote arguments containing '*' too, just so that your shell isn't turning the glob pattern into a null string... John
