By default ledger-mode now toggle individual postings into 'pending' status and ledger-finish (C-c C-c, or menu entry) will mark all pending transactions as cleared. This should work across multiple files as well.
It breaks the font-lock in the main window since it font-locks the payees based on the overall status of the xact, not the postings. I am open to suggestions on how to handle that. Please note that I also went through all the source code and made many variable name changes to clarify what was actually inside the object (postings or transactions vice entry for everything)... This is in agreement with the use of transaction and posting in the manual.
