Hello Ledger-cli!
I'm trying to use an automatic posting to record money I am owed for
purchases I make on behalf of my roommates.
At the moment, my shared postings looks like
01-01 ! Giant
Expenses:Food $40 ; Shared: roommateone, roommatetwo
Assets:Checking
And my automatic transaction looks like
= expr comment =~ /Shared: [A-Za-z]+, [A-Za-z]+$/
(Assets:Reimbursements) (2/3)
But this unbalances my accounts, and inaccurately reflects what I've
actually spent in each expense. I'd like to use the same format as above
for my postings, but generate more sensible transactions automatically, like
01-01 ! Giant
Expenses:Food ($40* 1/3)
Assets:Reimbursements ($40 * 2/3)
Assets:Checking
I've been trying to use $account, but that doesn't seem to be populated
when matching a comment. Is there any way to do what I'm looking for?
