Hi all, I just released a new version of abandon <https://github.com/hrj/abandon/releases/tag/v0.3>, which is a ledger-like text-based accounting tool. (Abandon was inspired by ledger, and is mostly syntax compatible with it, wherever the features overlap and permit it).
This release of abandon has a new feature which has been a life-saver for me: *Compact notation for transactions* The single line form is easier to read and edit. I can handle 10x more transactions in a given attention span. The format and behaviour is described in the github issue <https://github.com/hrj/abandon/issues/57>. As far as I know, the . (period) at the beginning of a line is not recognized in ledger-cli, and hence open for adoption. Noting it here in case there is wider interest in the ledger community, and other ledger-likes want to adopt something similar. It would help to have a similar syntax for it across the board. cheers, -- *Harshad RJ <http://lavadip.com>* -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ledger" group.
