Have you all set the specific dates for this? If I can find a cheap flight down, I might be interested in coming down for this. I'd like to talk with key Ledger developers about some thoughts related to Conservancy's NPO Accounting project and whether we can expand our use of Ledger further as we work on that project. The main issue I want to talk about is API for building applications on top of ledger, and the possibility of multiple storage back-ends. If folks would be open to that sort of in-person discussion as part of this hackfest, please let me know. (I know I'm mostly a lurker on this list -- but as many on the list know from past discussion, Conservancy is probably be the largest single user of Ledger for a real world -- handling more than $2mil in transactions per year with over one million text-lines of ledger entries, and our system and its data pass a non-profit audit each year. The system has however extended beyond my ability to maintain the system and we're looking at what to do next. I'd like to keep using the Ledger codebase, but Conservancy has some concerns.) -- -- bkuhn ======================================================================== Become a Conservancy Supporter today: https://sfconservancy.org/supporter -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ledger" group.
