I started looking at csv exports which is maybe something I should be using
anyway, but I see there the same issue with --depth, e.g.:

$ ledger csv -f temp.ldg --depth 2
"2018/06/26","","store","abc: def","$","100","",""

However! Going back to my other post with data like this:

2018/06/26 store
    abc                         $50
    abc: def                    $100
    lmnop: qrs: tuv

That comes out much better when not using --depth:

"2018/06/26","","store","abc","$","50","",""
"2018/06/26","","store","abc: def","$","100","",""
"2018/06/26","","store","lmnop: qrs: tuv","$","-150","",""

So I can look at doing my own depth management.
