It occurs to me that if we go with Erik's suggestion we could maintain this
as a separate feature branch for 1.5 and expect to fold it into standard
for 1.6. This would avoid skipping required PostgreSQL versions (since our
release is starting go move towards something more similar to their
release).
Additionally, it is unlikely that the areas I would like to move to that
would require 9.2 (mostly being able to attach intervals to transactions in
order to make automatic adjustment a matter of reporting) will happen in
1.5 so let's put it off for now (and assume this may be optional for at
least a single revision).
