Just some more points to the big picture, which could be relevant:


import invoice data from webshop (via its interface or an export - convert etc.)

import invoices for monthly/yearly etc. payment, like in the recurring invoice 
at this moment, but variable Notes or linked entries: could contain the service 
period from-to (4ex: from 16-04-2014 to 15-05-2014), or a detailed list about 
the services (like phone calls or production data as you mentioned in your 
email)


Otherwise the mentioned process and stored details for invoices (which could be 
included in the invoice as optional attachement for the invoice) sound very 
good.ű
