Hi all,

We used to have loads of directories of varying interest with loads of
extremely old releases. Personally, I think that served only to distract
interested users from finding the relevant versions to be downloaded.

So, I reorganized our download area a bit. I'm wondering if we need to
retain every RC and other pre-release forever: they're still there, but
personally I only see value in retaining (relatively) recent releases.
Everything else can be downloaded from a tag -- if we take care to tag our
releases carefully, that is.

So, if you could please check out the new download area organization and
tell me if the "Beta releases/archive-1.{1,2}" folders can be deleted, I
can proceed and finish the cleanup.

Similarly, I think we can remove all 1.3 RC releases prior to 1.3.40.

Regards,
