Any time you upgrade in a stable branch (1.2.0-> 1.2.8 for example) you can
just untar over your existing installation. It is, as always, backups are
golden :-) We don;'t change the db schema during stable branches.
In the case of 1.2.8, you probably want the 1.2.8-1 hotfix. This is
available by downloading the latest IS.pm from
http://ledger-smb.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ledger-smb/branches/1.2/LedgerSMB/
Or by checking on the available ledgersmb-hotfix list, or by emailing me.
This fix does impact core accounting logic and should be treated as
critical.
