Hi Luke, Traditionally the windows versions of firefox behave in the same way as the linux ones. So yes the same instructions, with the appropriate paths substituted should work just fine.
If anyone has a problem could they please let me know and I will try and help them sort it out. I have seen some comments around the web suggesting that the -no-remote option may not be needed on Win and Mac platforms, possibly not even on all linux platforms either. Including that option should not hurt on any platform though, and it should guarantee that a new instance is run.
