Dr Mike, I get the feeling you're not liking Chairman Papa Smurf? :-> ....that is indeed annoying but what is EVEN MORE tedious than this or talking in the 3rd person, is when managers/pundits/footballers yap on about say the relegation struggle and try to not name all teams involved, so they change a club into its plural (if such a thing exists) e.g. "the West Broms, the Sunderlands" ...and THEN proceeding to name ALL of the clubs one by one which they were trying to group into in using the plural in the first place.
