First Matteo now Ormsby having a go and and Eddie being very ambivalent....... Something is really wrong. Too many small signs. =============================================== "Leeds United legend Brendan Ormsby answers your questions.
Brendan, it seems as though Aidy White has disappeared off the scene. Do you rate him and would you give him a chance? MORLEY WHITE I DO like Aidy as a player and feel as though he should get a chance. He is very quick, one of the things you need as a full-back. He’s still learning, but you only get experience by playing. He has had a few games and been loaned out, but they still seem to think he’s not good enough at the moment and keep bringing loan players in. Why not give him a chance? Sink or swim, throw him in. What Aidy needs to do, if Leeds aren’t going to play him, is move. Not on loan, but permanently and start playing on a regular basis. You only get so much from going out on loan. I do think Aidy and Ben Parker are two good young full-backs for the future and I was surprised Aidy didn’t even get any time in the Newcastle friendly. It was a farce anyway, with all the substitutions. If I was him, I’d be looking at my own future with O’Dea coming in on a season-long loan and Ben in front of him. Once you’ve had a taste of first-team football, which he did at Oldham, you can’t settle for reserve-team football."
