Absolutely!!! They went up ahead of Featherstone Rovers who have won the league 2 years on the spin and only lost 3 games in 2 years, also Fev whipped Widnes twice in the last month of the season, home & away!

We don't want to end up with crazy situations like we have in Rugby League - where the team that finishes top can go nowhere but a team from the middle of the table can be selected to go up based on completely non performance-related criteria (this year Widnes got promoted to Super League despite finishing 5th in the Co-operative Championship!)
