Rumour has it and apparently warnock has mentioned it somehwere,
although I cannot find it, that Clayton wants 15k a week new contract so
they have put him on transfer list.
To be honest I am not that fussed he had a couple of cracking games
alongside howson at the start of the season otherwise the best you can
sy about him is hes scored a few long shots and occasionally looks to
have good feet. That's not enough for a starting centre mid for me. We
need some centre mids that will cover ground are athletes and have some
physical presence in order to impose on a game.
Brown is the only shock for me i'd have let him go too, although the
contract to him is on reduced terms not improved and only for a year.
