Ramadan has a huge influence on business. Not least the human effect of fasting then eating a large meal at night and before dawn. People are less on the ball and working hours are typically shorter. Many take holiday. Our Saudi operation is basically closed at the moment and all the Brits are back in the UK. With western lawyers on the case it should be progressing and I don't strictly subscribe to Ramadan being the issue
Eid is basically like Christmas time for family friends fun etc... so that is a big deal. Also lets face it like most religions they have get out clauses when money is involved, because it's a much bigger god. Also like Christianity until not to long ago usury was banned, but nowadays charging interest is common throughout the world.
