When we got to that final, we were an up and coming team, so were we the underdog? I can't remember our and Villa's standing at the time. We've definitely done better as an underdog team in recent years, and in fact often did shite as the overdog (think Cardiff, Rushden and Diamonds etc etc) Great day out wasn't it though back in 96, only sadly spoiled, as those footie days often are, by the rubbish on the pitch.
