Nearest pub is "Our Mutual Friend", Broadwater Crescent.  Usually has 6 real
ales on and regular finalist for CAMRA North Herts pub of the year.  One of the
few places dahn sarf where you get lined pint pots.  Only drawback is local
plod force them to use plastic glasses on match days.

Only time i went there - there was a supporters club around the back of the
ground - assume this is shut now then (or home fans only)
I assumed the nearest decent pub to Stevenage's ground would be in Hitchin

Graham,

I'm definitely going to this - pub recommendations
 welcome. And thanks
for the tip that the Lamex is dry.
