Agree mainly re Smith which is why I was critical of him (on the deck) -like 
you say he missed a great chance (Ross could and maybe should have scored 
himself) and was generally poor, but I thought it only fair to say, on seeing 
it again, that his chip onto the bar was skillful and unlucky not to go in. 
He is very inexperienced and it is a question of how much we can improve him, 
in any event he will be a threat in the air given the right service. He did 
somewhat remind me of John Pearson - a real lumbering non goal scoring centre 
forward, but one who had his value to the team, especially when taking the 
strain off Baird.
I doubt he will turn into the new Lee Chapman but again there are some 
similarities.

I think , at this stage that our front two will be Hunt and Ross - and Hunt 
will hopefully be a better Becchio / Keough type, and Smith will be in 
competition with Poleon for plan B.
