I think to take almost 6000 to an everyday league game, that is not a derby or our 'cup final' , especially so close to Christmas is amazing - incredible really (I wish I was one of them)
Re Blackstock, McDermott has said he is not making any decision yet but makes the point that Blackstock has a 3 and a half year contract at Forest, and therefore would be unlikely to settle for a 2 year one - almost implying that we only give 2 year contracts ? I think he has done OK, no more than that, but I don't know how much of Ross's recent success has been down to Blackstock and their partnership. We could with a few more goals from him but his history suggests he will never be prolific. I am not sure how Diouff would fit in with the present system - Byram when fully fit will be an improvement on Peltier (although I think Peltier has been doing ok) , not much to choose between Pugh and Warnock - both do ok on occasion but both are liable to mistakes and being caught out A shame that Aidy White does not look like he will ever make it at Leeds Dave ________________________________ The match against Blackburn is defo winnable, they are even less consistent than us & we'll have 7000 there, outsinging their fans.
