I thought at the time that Sharp had mis-hit it but looking at it on TV this is 
not clear so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. It also looked as if the ball 
from Cook was aimed at the onrushing Leeds player but was beyond him and fell 
to Sharp. 
I think Sharp is just an out and out goal poacher in the Linker mould. Since 
goals are what decide games I would rather have him than the non scoring 
Morison even if overall his contribution is betterDave     …a touch or two and 
lovely cross pulled back to just just beyond the penalty spot, where a 
swivelling Billy Sharp shins the thing into the bottom corner…

Sharp - don’t rate him, doesn’t hold the ball up, can’t beat defenders in the 
air or on the ground…one decent shinner, but he was in the right place to get 
it.
