I don't believe for one minute that Leeds were trying to get Byram to sign a new contract offering less money than he is on at the moment. Sounds like his agent is at work here. It's been pretty clear for some time that he has no desire to remain at the club and wants a big money move. I'd let him go to the highest bidder, I don't think signing Buckley is a coincidence - Byram has been wank this season albeit being played out of position. MOT
