Definitely late October is a jinx period, without a doubt. Late September is also bad.
As is the whole of February..............and pretty much the entire period from Dec 1st to the end of January. And March to May is usually a write-off. Seriously though (and clutching desperately at the flimsiest of straws), I do give those lads some credit for at least getting a bit of something going at the end of that half after that diabolical first 10 mins. Hard to see what the Fat Controller can do now. Maybe Mowatt for Murphy. He will want to get The Wizard on, but for whom? Dallas has shown a bit of a spark and Cook has to stay on. If he teks Adeyemi off, we'll be even weaker defensively through the middle.
