Sickening. I hate that Wagner, he behaved in the same way when they beat us 4-0 at our place, running on the pitch.
As for the game I thought we were lucky to come away with only a 2-1 defeat. Green kept us in contention but in truth Town were so much better than us it was embarrassing. When we did get a scrap we just kept giving the ball away. Players that are normally very good at short ball passing seemed incapable of finding a yellow shirt. Bridcutt , Vierra and Hernandes all guilty and I think we need to look at our tactics for big games likes this. I don't think you can play with 2 passengers like we did today ( Dallas and Doukara) especially against the quality Town have. I think it's asking too much for those 3 central players to chase around for 90 minutes and by the end I think we were out on our feet. I was very impressed with Town, they were the best team I've seen this season and I've no idea how The c&nt Wagner has managed to attract players of that quality to tin pot club like Town. My scores Green - 8. Some good saves that kept us in it. Ayling - 5. Thought he looked shaky against a tricky customer. Beradi - 7 I thought he did ok Jansson - 6 . Defended well but one or two tricky a moments Bartley - 6 ditto Bridcutt - 5 I thought that was his worst game for a while Vierra - 5 I thought he did ok first half but second half he looked knackered and he just kept giving the ball away. I felt for the lad. Hernandes - 3. Piss poor. It would appear that he's a player who is only effective when things are going his way. He had two free kicks both were very poor. I thought he was a world beater after Derby. Unfortunately he's not. Dallas - 1 what does he bring? Good goal against Blackburn but for me that's his only contribution this season. Get rid. Doukara - 1 he's been shit in 75% of the games this year. Get rid Wood - 4. Took his goal well but I thought his general play was what it normally is .. Shit. He doesn't win anything in the air as well. Subs New lad 1 - looked useful. Good shot New lad 2 - didn't touch the ball O'Kane - didn't touch the ball Reality check time. > On 5 Feb 2017, at 14:01, Simon McNally <simon_mcna...@sky.com> wrote: > > Disappointed with how we kept giving the ball away cheaply but thought we > done enough to get a point. > Fair play to Monk for barging into Wagner - I'd have chinned him for running > down the pitch like that. > Hope the wanker gets a ban > > Sent from my iPhone > _______________________________________________ > Leedslist mailing list > Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist > To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org > > > MARCHING ON TOGETHER _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org MARCHING ON TOGETHER
