Agreed that Gary stepped out of his technical area and he will probably get a ban. Wagner has been charged on two counts however - the encroachment on the pitch to celebrate the goal and the subsequent loss of control. Hopefully his ban will be double whatever is doled out to Monk.
Whatever his motives, Monks actions, and what followed thereafter, did show a massive spirit and unity between players and management, and I think will only serve to galvanise that spirit, which is probably the only positive here. Outrageous. I think Monk deserves the ban. He started it. Wagner's celebration was wanky but he didn't run into Gary's technical area and was not gesturing to him or shouting the score. I think Monk is a bit of a twat. Outrageous. Yeah me too, BUT we don't have thousands of cameras pointing at us. I think it was a mistake in the heat of the moment on his part and he'll get a ban. Good to see HT have banned the lowlife with the flag, although the cheering Neanderthals prancing around it seem to have got off. ttfn Richard If you watch the footage that some Udder made from the stand, you can see that Monk simply strolled casually into Wanger's path as the latter galumphed back up the pitch after his outrageous pitch invasion. Monk made exactly the same move that I make 10 times a day here in Hong Kong when I see people walking along with their heads stuck in their mobiles.......nothing more. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist Leedslist -- The Unofficial Leeds United Email List - GreenNet<http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist> mailman.greennet.org.uk This is the original (founded 1992) and 100% unofficial Leeds United Internet Mailing List Leedslist has no connection with Leeds United Football Club, or any other body To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org MARCHING ON TOGETHER -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
