Like Nick my first match for a long while and not seen the TV recording yet.
Was in with the Reading bunch, courtesy of not being a member and my daughter
having a Reading postcode.

Pretty much agree with most of what people said about the game.
Reading deserved it although Leeds did have a couple of chances in each half.
First half, Bartley had a header at an open goal albeit from a tight angle, or
was it blown-up for a foul? Couldn't really see how close any of the scrambles
were at the other end in the 2nd half.

Reading looked a good team, and to be truthful I wouldn't fancy us against
them, Hudds or Fulham given our play-off record.

Not going to give scores, but those who did well:
Green - Kept us in it on at least 3 occasions.
Bartley - Top defender and organiser.
Bridcut - Kept driving the team on.

Disappointments:
Cooper - Could have done better with the goal and caused a couple of other
situations.
Sacko - Although part of his problem was that Reading had that long diagonal
ball sussed.

The rest were just average.
Vieira - Despite his obvious athleticism and skill, produces very little in the
way of key moments.
Whole Team - As somebody else said, when Wood is kept quiet, the team doesn't
look like scoring.

I didn't realise Jansson has been injured of late. I thought Monkfish may be
being clever about the suspensions. Doesn't he get a 3 game ban if he gets
another booking?
So 'resting' him until about the 42nd game, getting him booked and suspended
for games 43,44,45 would make sense if we want to be sure he is there for the
play offs. Of course sending him on in the last minute or so whilst he is
injured to get a 'soft' booking to be served before he gets fit would also be a
good call :).

Anyway, as part of my spring double-header, I'll be coming up to the Preston
game next week, with 'kids'.
It doesn't sound as though there is such a thing as a 'list meet' these days,
but would be pleased to bump into anyone who is having a beer not too far from
the ground, as we probably won't be early enough to venture too far.

KOT.
