That's what I said - either we get to keep him - win
OR we sell him for a lot more than we paid for him - win
So it is win win, even if him staying is by far the best scenario

That's not how football works anymore Dave.
3 year deal just means we can demand more compensation if a premiership
club comes knocking. He won't refuse to move and the club won't refuse the
money.
