Heck has got to get it right tonight - a defeat and the season is over, even a
draw is not a great deal of help , so really we need to set ourselves up with
the best chance of winning
Some of the team, Pontus, De Bock, Forshaw, Lassogga pretty much pick
themselves (as does Hernandez probably)- but there are options / decisions for
the majority of places
First up dare he stick with Weidwald or does he dare pick the equally inept /
mistake prone Longeran ? Or does he go full-on gamble and throw BPF into such a
high pressure away game ?
Right back - does he stick with Anita who did Ok but is out of position
(assuming he still is a midfielder who has never played there for us) , risk
another non right back in Dallas or bring in the now not suspended Berardi

Centre back - who to play alongside Pontus - stick with the disppointing
Pennington or bring back the accident-waiting-to-happen Cooper
Midfield - do we go 4 4 2 or back to the 4 2 3 1 of Monk and TC - whichever way
he goes who goes alongside the impressive Forshaw and how does he make
Hernandez be most useful. Does Alioski, Dallas, Sacko or Roofe deserve a place
out wide? Can Vieirra be relied on to have a decent game, in which case he is
our best midfielder, or will he have one of his off games when he is dreadful.
Have O'Kane or Phillips done enough to warrant a start. How does he bring Saiz
our best player back into the team
Up top - Lassogga has to start but does he go it alone or alongside Ekuban or
Roofe / Saiz

So lots of choices - only Heck will know who he views as his best team and then
he needs to consider who is fully match fit (can Saiz for example last 90
minutes after 6 games out) who is carrying a knock or who is "tired" after
Sundays game
For what its worth I expect the team to look something like this - with us
going 4 4 2Wiedwald (albeit he has dropped hints about Longeran)Berardi Pontus
Pennington De BockDallas Forshaw O'Kane HernandezLassogga Saiz
But I would not be surprised if he starts with Ekuban and has Saiz on the
bench, or indeed pretty much any other formation or personnel
It is a win or bust game - a good result and we can then expect to beat
Brentford on Saturday and then look to get at least 2  points from Boro away
and Wolves at home before 3 easier looking games with Reading (a) Sheff Wed and
Bolton (h) -
