Two most worrying quotes, to me. "We’re going to have to work hard because

over-achieving and building a hungry, competitive squad."and then "It’ll be a
smaller squad and a hungrier squad"
Why, when we have the biggest crowds, most TV appearances and right up there
with biggest income (bar parachute payments) , can't we buy that calibre of
player so that they just need to do well not 'over-achieve' ?Also given that,
due to injuries we are playing two non full backs as full back and will be
starting with at least one young inexperienced centre half and no recognised
midfield player on the bench v Villa, isn't the squad already too small ?
