Last season, despite the start, I think we were all aware we rode our
luck a bit? When Millwall found us out there was a bit of a collective
reality check and we all knew we were nowhere near as good as the
results suggested over 7? Games.
This season, we’ve completely dominated and the speed and quality is
VERY promising. No, absolutely NOT getting carried away, hopefully far
too worldly wise for that! But ... feel at least this season we will be
serious contenders, given that we were in with a shout until Christmas
last year.
Douglas looks quality, Ayling was Player if the Season last year before
getting injured, Roofe has been a revelation so far and I hope Saiz has
learnt his lesson from spit fate and is now fully focussed.
How will he play Tuesday? 2nd string? At the pace they are playing,
surely now NEEDS to rest a few?
