Went down to the game with a few Swans mates last night. They were oddly optimistic about getting a result despite their performance against Birmingam (literally should have lost 8-0 but someone escaped a 0-0!).
Before KO I was telling them to watch the little fella, Saiz. Been playing well for us and a cut above most other 'creatives' in this division. Sadly, he didn't turn up and was REALLY hard to watch from the stand. Talk about cursing a player! Everything he did was niggly, snarling and bitchy - I could barely watch him at times and can't really recall him contributing anything positive. If Phillips was non-productive, what could you say about Saiz? Assumed Phillips went off injured at the time. I mean, what manager subs a player after 25 minutes? Brave choice but the right one as we were getting totally over-run whilst he was on the pitch. If we can play badly and take a point away from home against one of the divisions favourites, then we're in decent shape right now.
