It seems as though we have few friends in official League and FA corridors. Although lots of talk and humour around this, it could end up as a points deduction or another serious sanction.
I find it hard to believe that somebody with MB's experience would think that this was okay to do and turn away from "When in Rome...." or even seek advice first. is there anything else going on here behind the scenes? We shall see, but I'm leaning towards a disproportionate sentence.
