IMO if Eddie goes back it will be a chance missed. I thought he had a tough game against Brum but it was his first league start in the championship and I thought his work rate was Excellent and I think his running off the ball caused them problems. He will score the goals to take us up and sending him back to come and score a hat trick against us is just foolish. Midfield is the area we need to improve. Playing two luxury players on the wing means you need to have midfielders who can chase, battle, tackle and then be creative and push forward. I don’t think Philips and Dallas fall into that category and we’ve seen them get overrun in the last 2 games. If we’re going to splash out it’s got to be on a midfielder who can do that. Bellingham from Brum would be a target for me but I’m sure there’s plenty of PL clubs in line for him.
