Slightly disappointed but, providing it paves the way for promotion,
relatively non-plussed. Probably along with everyone else my
observations were:
1. Xhaka and Anthony Taylor are clearly having a passionate affair. Only
explanation for the latter's steadfast refusal to give him AT LEAST 3
yellows!
2. VERY impressed with Meslier, his confidence and distribution (in
particular) were excellent.
3. Marcelo, you are, undoubtedly, the World's best coach, but PLEASE get
us a goal scorer in January. One who will, when needed, get us THAT
goal. It will be the difference between winning the league and having a
nervous end to the season.
4. If I were an Arsenal fan, player, official, I would be embarrassed by
my reaction to winning last night. IF you think that sort of mentality
puts you in good stead to 'kick start' getting back with the big boys,
you are VERY much mistaken.
5. Leeds are brilliant. The fans are THE best. I'm proud to be a Leeds
fan.
