Both funny and ever so slightly embarrassing. I do remember me and DRB singing on the train, along with everyone else. Jeez I was pissed. When I got into Wemberlee I booed Trevor Brooking who walked past, and then we had an altercation with the posh Leeds fans in front as we wouldn’t stand for the National Dirge, and following that we gave Virginia Bottomley some direct advice :-) Then Craig from the Sisters of Mercy tapped me on the shoulder and was laughing at our antics. ALAW. And that gnome - I see him every few years, usually in In De Wildemaan in Amsterdam, Guy Thornton of course - cracking gent.
