Apparently the t-shirt was just the icing on the cake - they’d been into Leeds earlier and received a number of ‘greetings’ from the locals about the Splitter League - it seemed he didn’t like it. Just as well he didn’t come to Leeds in the 70/80s ;-) I don’t think anyone will care what the views of the Splitter 6 are for quite some time. I saw John Henry giving some half-arsed apology earlier - looked like Grandpa Walton. Boy has his stock gone down on Merseyside.
