Leeds United are delighted to announce the loan signing of central defender Joe Rodon.
The 25-year-old Wales international joins the Whites on a season-long deal, from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. In September 2019, Rodon earned his first international cap for Wales, playing 90 minutes to help his country defeat Azerbaijan 2-1. He was at the heart of the defence to help Wales qualify for UEFA Euro 2020 and also helped the Dragons make history, when in June 2022, they qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1958. Rodon played in all four of Wales’ UEFA Euro 2020 matches, helping them reach the last 16 of the tournament, whilst in Qatar at the FIFA World Cup 2022 he also started all three matches.
