This was always on the cards once folk started going about being unbeaten at home for a year.
Still, they needed two deflected goals and a helpful referee to do it. What I took from the game was that we are a match and a handful for most of the teams in the league - outside the obvious big guys. We’ll be ok. The spirit is good, the system is good, even if the shooting needs practice. Others will probably do scores but I thought pretty much all were equally steady without anyone being spectacular. Spurs clearly did their homework on Bogle - 2 on him whenever he had the ball, and when we were defending, their number 7 sat just inside of the left winger, so Rodon or Aaronson had to cover… and neither did. They were fast going forward. With a little more luck… I’m enjoying watching these games more than I thought I would. Few more goals wouldn’t go amiss, and I felt sorry for Darlow yesterday.
