1978 Ford Cortina Ghia.
Free - no charge - just has to be collected from LS2.
This is a rare black MK IV with the German 2.3L V6 engine and an auto box.
The chassis is basically sound, but it needs lots of small-medium jobs:
No MOT or TAX, hasn't run for 3 years (battery is completely flat)
Master cylinder needs replacement as the brakes are very spongy
Suspension needs new void bushes
Radiator has a small leak
Piston rings could ideally do with replacing.
Body work is basically sound but it does need a paint job (front valance &
driver's side front wing are only primed & the roof is seriously flaky)
The front bumper is off, but I have brand new one for it.
It's a relatively straightforward restoration for an enthusiast and it has
the potential to be a beautiful, head-turning car but it will sadly be going
to the scrappers if it can't find a good home by the end of this week.
