One that always haunts me was Liverpool at home in FACup. Playing so-so. West Stand gets impatient, bloke starts shouting "Make a change David" DOL give it the old 'I know best, I'm the manager, you shut up fickle fan' stood with his arms crossed stuff. We play on for 15 mins, getting deeper and deeper. Others join in saying "Make a change".
They bring on Heskey and Barmby, who both promptly score.
Was he playing for penos? We'll never know but he 'Did know best'.
