In terms of transfers in and out I think we've done OK this pre-season and the squad looks better balanced than at this time last year.
Injuries have been cruel to us - Nicholls and Cresswell affected, not Gregan and Beckford... Nevertheless, all being well we will have Stone and Bakke available which we didn't last year. We've played 4-4-2 all through pre-season, which makes good sense now we have two genuiine wide players in Lewis and Carole. I'm not concerned about results because I don't think we've seen anything like our first team pplay together for a prolonged period. This is a worry to me though - I'd have liked some semblence of the first team to play together more regularly to help things "bed in". Team for Saturday? haven't a clue what he'll do. I suspect Killa and Butler are now his first choice centre backs (They started together agianst Forest while Gregan started with youth, reserves and trialists against Grimsby). What would I start with on Saturday?
