Well tonight I went to see - Paul Jones & Mike D'abo in a Manfreds line up with Mike Hugg, Tom McGuinness, Marcus Cliffe, Simon Currie, and Rob Townsend. It was a privilege to see Chris Farlowe and Maggie Bell again, performing with the Manfreds line up.Was that Meggie Bell ?.......well stone the crows !! No idea whose mum worked where, but the base player is from Leeds originally. Was interested in the photos at Mojos around the corner afterwards with a picture of a young Bob Marley with football taken just off Briggatte and the recently deceased Arthur Lee pictured sitting in mojos itself not so long ago. Plenty of pictures of Hendrix but none which were obviously from that strange period before he broke big when he was always hanging around Leeds.
