Sunderland have ALWAYS tried to restrict our tickets and used various tricks to justify it !! I remember goung to ER to watch the game on the big screen - we won 1 -0 through Mel Sterland - in our promotion year. The excuse that year was something to do with them losing money because of our membership scheme, including no tickets on sale on the day, which meant they lost money ! (it sticks in my mind because we were only allowed 500 tickets by them which seemed to me meant they lost more money - was totally illogical Like I say it is just an excuse !
