Hi
Baby Har-El is back at home. [They all live with us]
He left hospital in his LUFC gear.
I bet he is the only supporter ever to be circumcised in Leeds kit [This
coming Tuesday]
So I reckon that its 5-0 on Saturday as we turn the corner.
Lets face it we saw loads of players playing beneath their ability KB only
to do better when moving on.
With DW we have seen the opposite. He has got the best out of Blake, Lewis,
Sa & Rui . He bought in Heath and improved him. The defense is almost a
settled item. And getting good. The attack with Blake, Cresswell & Healy is
surely good enough and is starting to bed down. The mid field would be
better if Derry and Thomson were available but seemingly his 'gamble' on a
youngsters makes a lot more sense than did KB's.
Will we miss the drop?
You do not turn a team around so quickly, there is the need to install
Method and Belief. I think that the first part is going well. The second is
less so because of the state we are in.
We are more likely to drop than not. But from what I have seen I think that
DW has the guts and gumption to get that belief. Sure he blew it with the
mole. But one good win and a back to back result will see us going onto a
winning streak. But we need that fast. Similarly a mauling and an injury to
a key player will see us down.
Basically we need a break but we have done the right things and made the
right preparations to utilise it to the full if we get it.
Michael
