Actually, we've won the league on Merseyside three times!
In all three seasons we won the league, the decisive game was at Anfield.
1969 We get a 0-0 draw, so 2nd. placed Liverpool couldn't catch us.
1974 2nd. placed Liverpool lose a midweek game at home to Arsenal, so they
couldn;t catch us.
1992 Liverpool beat 2nd. placed Man U, so scum can't catch us.
